Website Privacy

Dartmouth-Hitchcock ("D-H") has created this internet site to provide information and resources for patients, visitors, family members, health care professionals, and other interested parties. You can access and browse the entire site without submitting any information about yourself, your computer, your Internet browsing, or file downloading activities.

We track and log visitors to our Site via an automatic monitoring program. This program informs us what time you visit our Site and what pages(s) you access, and what, if any, words you type when utilizing our search mechanism. D-H is also able to log the IP addresses of visitors to the Site and use this information to both track user visits and technically administer the Site and diagnose network and other problems.

If you email us, respond to a survey, join our myD-H service or subscribe to one or more of our online publications or email newsletters, your email identifier name and email address will be stored in our database. Although we have taken steps to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of personally-identifiable information that you may provide via email, please understand that electronic transmissions via the Internet are not necessarily secure from interception and so we cannot guarantee the security or confidentiality of such transmissions. Please see our Notice of Privacy Practices for additional information.

Please do not provide any health information, confidential or otherwise, about yourself, your family or any other person known to you, via email unless you are utilizing the myD-H service to which you have subscribed and are aware of and abide by its rules and regulations.

We do not share, sell or rent email identity name or email or physical address information with any other partners, vendors, affiliates or members of Dartmouth-Hitchcock, or with any organization, partnership, committee or company.
